Food gifts are my absolute favorite. They are practical, thoughtful and in my experience have always been delicious! Bonus points if you have time during the holidays to spend extra hours in the kitchen making up a big batch of your favorite something (cookies, caramels, fudge, apple butter, sweet and salty chex mix, etc.) to wrap beautifully for friends and family, but a lot of people just don’t have that kind of time.
I start nearly every workday morning with a green smoothie (weekends are for waffles and sweet potato hash!) and it has proved to be the best way for me to start my day! Filling my body with raw, nourishing, whole foods gives me a burst of energy to start on the right foot. Plus, I can guarantee I’ll get a couple of servings of fruits and veggies in before the day really even begins!
Over the last few years of living with food allergies, I’ve found that it’s incredibly difficult to find products and restaurants that understand dietary restrictions, and it’s even rarer to find products that are safe and nutritious, let alone tasty. Because of these difficulties, I thought I’d start a series and share about the wonderful products I’ve discovered. Up first: WB Kitchen Ona cookies and bars!
