I know I gave you an orange mango smoothie recipe last week, but this is the best green smoothie recipe I’ve come up with and it’s the one Eric and I drink every morning, so I wanted to share it with you!
This weekend we were busy hosting brunch for my brother-in-law’s birthday and some of my recipes got real life taste-testing experience. We devoured my paleo Dutch Baby topped with strawberry chia seed jam, scrambled eggs, sweet potato breakfast potatoes and fruit. It was delicious and a wonderful time to gather with the family.
My cast iron skillet got a lot of love this week, what with my Loaded Hash Browns recipe and now this paleo Dutch Baby recipe I have been dying to share! Continue reading
Man oh man oh man are these loaded hash browns good. My favorite thing about them is that without much thought, they turned out incredible! On a whim I just had the idea and ran with it.
The hash browns are crispy crunchy, the eggs are creamy and the bell peppers are cooked till they melt in your mouth. Plus, it’s perfectly seasoned and has just a hint of sweetness from the coconut oil. Drooling yet?

Slow-cooker oatmeal is one of my meal-planning musts! Every Sunday I make a batch of this banana bread slow-cooker oatmeal (or pumpkin oatmeal! Or cherry vanilla oatmeal!). It’s incredibly creamy, and reheats perfectly throughout the week for a mid-morning snack that keeps me full till lunch.
I don’t even know what to say … these are utterly incredible and YOU HAVE TO MAKE THEM! Savory crepes are my new favorite thing and you should seriously, try them for yourself!
The lovely Stephanie Meyer of Fresh Tart invited me to her home to show me how easy it is to make crêpes. I couldn’t believe how simple these were to pull together, let alone the how good they taste! We devoured one cold after taking photos and had no complaints whatsoever. This recipe is THAT GOOD. Continue reading
